For a Worldwide leader on the food and beverage industry is urgently looking for Project manager / Production & Supply Chain Applications in a location close to Brussels.About the Role Leads business change projects, covering all aspects of such change (business processes, business data, supporting application/system, organization alignment, enabling IT-Infrastructure requirements).Contributes to business / IM governance in defining the IM-Applications masterplan ("Project Portfolio Management")In "Application Project Delivery services"This position can also be a "Template Lead" for a business process domainThe focus area of this function is in the area of Forecast to Stock, with a focus on production execution, MUV (Materials Used Variances) and inventory management processes. In this function, the project manager works closely together with the business program & project managers, and is such co-responsible for the overall MUV (Materials Used Variances) improvement program. Major Challenges:Defines and defends "global Template Solution" (process/system) where appropriate, despite our client organization where decision power is split between the Global functions and the Bus/RegionsFlexibility in terms of overtime and (international) travel (between 10% & 30% travel)Be highly effective/efficient Key Responsibilities Include Contributes to the business / IM governance in defining the IM-Applications masterplan ("Project Portfolio Management")Defines, together with the IM & Business teams (for IM/IT, Application Architect & IM Management team), the application architecture for the specific business process domain.Drives and leads the planning, coordination and implementation of Information Management (IM) projects to ensure delivery on time, within budget, adhered to defined quality standards and meeting agreed user specifications and expectations. As such:Defines projects in terms of project objectives (benefits), project scope, timelines, effort/cost, and resource requirements.Manages the delivery of full lifecycle implementation of projects. Conceptual design, detailed design, build/configuration, testing, data design & coach/supervise data preparation by business users, training planning & execution, conversion planning & execution, go-live support.Supervises up to 20 FTE. On projects, typically would lead the entire project. Or one large "functional workstream" on large business change projects. "Evaluates" these staff or provides inputs for their PMDP evaluation (matrix organization). Is recognized as a "people manager" in the (IM-IT) organization.Keeps up to speed with "best-practice" evolution in the respective functional / business process area (business principles, business processes, application solutions).Manages the relationship with external vendors/service providers for her/his specific project(s) (Accenture / other)Brings in continuous improvement in area of expertise. About You Education & experience Masters degree in Commercial Engineering, Applied Economic Sciences or Information TechnologyExperience in delivering application-based business changeOf which 3+ years of experience in Project Management, Business Governance & LeadershipProficient in business applications of our client organization (SAP, MES Wonderware, Google, ….)For the specific function, experience with implementation of Inventory Management and Production Execution solutions (SAP PP-PI and / or MES solutions and / or Labeling / Scanning solutions) Languages Fluent English is a mustDutch / French are an a plus
