Data EngineerLondonUp to £60,000 We are working with a leading Data Management, Analytics and BI Consultancy with clients who are some of the biggest names in the Financial Services Industry. The Consultancy are looking for dynamic Data Engineers with strong technical skills to join their London office.You will have the opportunity to work with a highly skilled and creative team of consultants who have experience in areas such as Data Storage, Data Integration, Data Warehousing, Data Preparation, and Cloud Infrastructure. Working under an autonomous structure, you will have access technical community groups and training tools with exposure to multi sector and international clients. You should have a passion for rich data and be adept in explaining technologies to stakeholders and interested parties in a way which can be understood. Skills and Requirements:Skilled in SQL, Python, Java, Scala, JuliaCommercial experience with cloud platforms Azure, AWS, GCP and certified to practitioner level in at least one.Experience with one or more of - Spark, Kafka, Snowflake, HadoopSQL and NoSQL experience and databases - Cassandra, MongoDBDelivery of multiple solutions using key techniques such as Data Modelling, DWH, Lakes, ETL, ELT, Virtualisation & Streaming.Development principles - ETL, DWH, and Streaming You should have a minimum of 2 years' experience as a Data Engineer or SQL Developer. Flexibility to travel to and work on client sites within the UK and occasionally Europe is required. An awareness of current market trends is also crucial to this role.
