This employer is at the fore front of managed services and hosted IT solutions, providing services to a variety of clients across multiple sectors. They offer cloud solutions including; VMware, Veeam Cloud Connect, Zerto and on-premise managed services.

Due to continued success, they are looking for a Technical Consultant to join their team based in Cambridgeshire. The successful applicant will have detailed knowledge and/or qualifications in all aspects of the VM products and other clouds solutions.

Desired skills

- Demonstrate experience of strategic thinking in design and administration of cloud infrastructure leveraging your deep & broad knowledge of Cloud service, DevOps culture & Agile methodologies.

- Self-motivation, the ability to work effectively both alone and within teams.

- An analytical, enquiring and challenging mind with a deep desire to build and improve.

- Develop and design client solutions. Suggesting improvements and changes to increase value.

- Deliver the solutions as per VMware Cloud Foundation best practice

- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral

- VMware vSphere

- VMware vSAN and NSX experience would be considered a plus

- Expertise of Veeam Systems Admin support and experience within large multi-site environments

- Microsoft 365 & Exchange

- Hosted solutions transition experience

- Sophos Suite Experience

- Microsoft Azure and AWS Experience would be considered a plus.
