Junior BI Analyst (SQL, Power BI or BI Tool experience)
£24,000 + benefits inc. remote working
South TynesideA dominating market leader are looking to further support their data visibility and journey, by adding to their already established Business Intelligence team. A key focus of the business is focused around the transition from data to information, both to support the journey through the Covid pandemic and to help better position their products on the market, in comparison to their competitors. This is where this role will be integral. You will be expected to support the Business Intelligence solution in place, by creating dashboards to support internal business decision making and helping to ascertain the needs from key stakeholders, to ensure complete relevance throughout.The opportunities to learn here are endless, we are looking for basic SQL experience and BI Tool competency as a core requirements, but long term you will become fully accredited through consistent training from external parties (Microsoft etc.) and the Senior BI & Data Warehouse Developers who lead the team. There is over 100 years of experience within the team to lean on and they have a fantastic track record of developing junior level candidates, into very successful business intelligence professionals.This role will be well suited to current Junior MI or Data Analysts, who have advanced Excel skills and ideally exposure to SQL or a BI Tool. There is a development plan in place for all professionals within the business, to help further your career, skills and earnings. - Microsoft Excel - advanced skills, ideally with VBA programming experience
- SQL - basic querying would provide a distinct advantage at shortlisting stage, but essential
