So you like analysing data, more importantly, you enjoy ensuring that the data quality is of a high standard. That's great; we would like to talk to you about this significant role within a client of ours based in the beautiful South West of England.

This is an opportunity for you to move into a new Data & Quality Analyst role within the Company, either with a proven background in Data Analysis or at a more junior Data Analyst level, as training and mentoring is available for you depending on your level of experience.

About the role Using your expertise & knowledge of data analytics, you'll join the team as a Data and Quality Analyst to lead the way in data analytics & data quality. Reporting to the Head of IT & working with the Senior Data Governance & Strategy Lead, your role is to improve current data reporting & insight structure, ensuring the data that is being used is of high quality. In short, you'll be vital to making sure quality data is at the heart of the business.

Proactively improving the quality of company data, reporting & insights your duties will include implementing data analytics & reporting within the group, delivering detailed, insightful data reports to the business. You'll Implement analysis into the business, data mine source systems for reporting and use Alteryx to develop & implement plans & scripts for various data quality processes.

About you. So you'll use your skills in data analysis & data visualisation for this challenging role. Previous experience in Power BI Desktop & DAX & with information finding & data modelling, however small, will be needed. More importantly, is your desire to do the best job, be able to take a task and run with it. If you want to suggest improving the process, then they want to hear it. So you will need an inquisitive mind, be happy to come up with new ideas and of course be happy to push and develop yourself.

Any experience SSRS, SQL, R & Python ETL tools, (ideally Alteryx) will be a plus but don't worry if not training will be provided.

Of course, you'll need strong communication skills both written & verbal, to communicate at all levels, both technical & non-technical and able to present & explain results of analysis via written reports & oral presentation.

Salary: c£27,000 up to £30,000.00 per annum + Company pension, Gym membership, free parking, holiday

Duration: Full-time, Permanent

Location: Devon, commutable from Plymouth, Exeter, Yeovil, Taunton, Launceston.

Start Date: ASAP. / Notice period.
