Supporting our engineering client with offices in Leeds, we are looking for a Control Systems Engineer on a staff basis. Some remote work can be offered & we are looking for the successful candidate to start by early October.A salary of £35,000-£40,000 is available + benefits.

You will write PLC and HMI programs with a talented team of engineers, testers and project managers . Some monthly site visits maybe needed to carry our commissioning / supporting commissioning engineers.

Job DescriptionThe Control Systems Engineer will lead production and delivery of identified necessary PLC/SCADA control systems upgrades across the site.Build and maintain close working relationships with engineering and test teams to produce control systems and displays that improve operational efficiency's.Provide training, hands on support and documentation on upgraded systems.The Successful ApplicantEssential criteria - experience of working with PLC/SCADA control systems, Programming and testing Siemens S7Allan Bradley would advantageous.Experience of developing WinCC HMIs using TIA Portal is desirableUtilities or water industry experience is desirable.Good documentation skills A relevant degree and/or 6 years + commercial experiencePlease note we cannot provide sponsership for this role. *Please send across a CV if interested, you can find me on LinkedIN also.
