We are passionate about training, technology and career development.Role DescriptionOur Client is a large broadcast and telecommunications company who deliver some of the most diverse content and services on the planet. They are currently looking for an experienced Database Administrator / Developer to join a successful team and add real value. The main purpose of the role will be to provide Oracle database expertise and SQL Development to support the Customer Interaction Management application/service components.The successful individual will have worked as a Developer/SQL developer and can perform query tuning and have also worked as an Oracle DBA or has experience or strong understanding of enterprise DB's and DB performance & tuning.Key Responsibilities will include the following;Gathering data requirements and formulation into database deliverablesDeliver high quality database design/development components to support new functionalityParticipate in the implementation and improvement of database team procedures and standardsSupport database build/release lifecycleOffer SQL review/tuning expertise to non-database development teamsEssential Skills:You will have worked as a Developer/SQL developer and can perform query tuning, also have worked as an Oracle DBA or has experience or strong understanding of enterprise DB's and DB performance & tuning.Experience of Oracle development in SQL/PLSQL (10g & 11g); Data Modelling (Logical/Physical) using an E-R modelling tool; SQL Tuning; UNIX scripting; Database Object / Code Version Control and ReleaseIf you have the above skills, please submit your profile in the first instance.
