Full Stack Developer / Software Engineer (Java Web GUI Spring). *Remote Interview WFH* Award-winning, key partner to the process industries is seeking a technology-driven Full Stack Developer to join their relaxed but professional R&D environment, take ownership of complex, rewarding work and make an impact.

The organisation is the world-leading provider of advanced process modelling software for the process industries including power, biochemical and pharmaceutical.

As a Full Stack Developer you'll play a key role in their Agile development team where you'll focus on building a new web based system in line with the current desktop application with a focus on the GUI / front end. You'll work with up-to-the-minute technologies including multi-threaded Java and Spring within a microservices environment with Docker and Kubernetes used for containerisation.

Requirements:

You have core Java development experience (including the Spring framework)

You're a passionate technologist, keen to learn new skills and work with modern tools in a microservices / DevOps environment

Ideally you'll have some experience of working on complex display user interfaces

Experience with Docker and Kubernetes is advantageous

Desirable: experience with Swing
