Job Title: Architectural Technologist/TechnicianLocation: KendalSalary: £28,000 - £36,000 depending on experienceJob type: Permanent, Full timeThe Company has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Architectural Technologist/Technician to work on a variety of projects ranging in size and across various sectors including residential, healthcare and commercial.For the successful candidate this is a real opportunity to be a part of the Practice's long term future.The Role:The successful candidate will be responsible for their own projects together with producing production information packages on larger projects. Current projects include healthcare refurbishments and extensions, a new build contemporary house within the Lake District National Park, conversion of former school accommodation into private dwellings, and reconfiguration of blue chip company corporate offices.The Practice is developing its BIM capabilities and would want the successful candidate to contribute to that process.The Candidate:The successful candidate will ideally meet the following requirements:Good understanding of design and detailingProficient in AutoCAD and ideally RevitHave job running experience across all areas of a project life cycleIs able to liaise directly with a wide range of clientsWorking knowledge of the Building RegulationsExperience of using National Building Specification (NBS)The Location:The office is located in Kendal which is on the door steps of both the Lake District and Yorkshire Dales National Parks.
