Leading Engineer position on offer with a rapidly expanding company that will provide excellent chances for progression.This is a fantastic chance for an engineer with experience working on Agricultural vehicles or machinery to take a step towards overall responsibility and Management roles.

Do you have experience working on Agricultural vehicles or machinery? Are you keen to take a step off the tools into a more senior, management-focused role?

This well-established company are a supplier of high grade vehicles and machinery for a number of industries. They are in the process of expanding their operations and rapidly increasing their turnover even during this period.In this role you will be the first technical point of contact for customers. You will be dealing closely with customers and understanding their issues and needs. You will then be in charge of coordinating a team of Service Engineers to ensure that work is carried out in the most effective fashion. You will also be travelling out to customer sites to carry out hands-on repairs yourself, and handling jobs in the workshop.

This would ideally suit someone with any background of working on agricultural vehicles who wants to take a step into a leadership role.

The Role:

* Servicing and repairing heavy vehicles

* First technical point of contact for customers

* Organising a team of Service Engineers to ensure effective work

* Getting hands-on on both customer sites and in the workshop

* £27,000-32,000(OTE33-40K) Progression + Bonus + Van + Holiday

* Covering the Ipswich/Bury St. Edmunds/Colchester area

The person:

* Experience working on agricultural vehicles or machinery such as tractors, combines etc.

* Strong customer-focus and ability to understand customers' needs

* Desire to step up into a leadership position and guide a team of engineers
