Who will you be working for? RPS provide project delivery and tailored PMO services, helping our customer's projects go from concept to completion. Our project delivery services are custom made to meet individual needs, whilst drawing on broad market experience and proven methodology from a variety of sectors including Media, Banking and Central Government. What will you be doing?Reed Professional Services (RPS) facilitates the raising of expertise within the organisation, working particularly on the EU Exit programmes. In order to further complement the team delivering these programmes, RPS have an exciting opportunity for a Solution Architect to join our team of experts in ensuring the success of the projects. Your role as the Solution Architect is to maintain assurance and oversight of technical designs, artefacts and outputs, including solution architecture and service design. In addition, you will articulate the digital delivery critical path and overall digital service readiness. Experience: the ideal candidate will have a proven track record of working in Central Government on a similar project as a Solution Architect especially on Government Digital Services. Skills: you should have a solid understanding across multiple technology domains, including Azure and AWS IaaS, PaaS and SaaS. Additionally, the ability in turning business problems into technical design is essential, as is the ability to bridge the gap between the technical and non-technical. Characteristics: be prepared for frequent internal and external stakeholder management at a senior level. Therefore, you should be a compelling and considered influencer, with a consultative and approachable demeanour that will enable your team to deliver to the best of its ability with a collaborative and team building attitude.
