The role

You will be helping with the ongoing development of the software which powers their products. This involves constantly refining their proprietary appliance operating platform, built on Linux; enhancing and embedding existing applications on that platform.

You will work alongside existing Senior Developers to produce software to drive new products or upgrades.

What they're looking for:

Excellent technical and interpersonal skills with a Computer Science degree (or similar) looking for a first or second job.

Essential

- Fluent with Python, knowledge of other languages an advantage (esp C++)

- Familiar with Linux

- Experienced with networking and internet infrastructure technologies and protocols

- Solid web development skills, including HTML, Javascript, CSS3.

- Some experience with databases: PostgreSQL, SQL/MySQL

- Passion for software development, demonstrated through personal projects or involvement in open source communities - a fast learner, driven to improve

Salary - Attractive remuneration package - £25-30k+ first year with significant earnings growth potential
