Head of IT InfrastructureThe successful candidate will be responsible for managing the Infrastructure team and dealing with operational support and development of the IT infrastructure, including management of the data centre environment and LAN / WAN networks connecting with numerous other offices in the UK and to the parent head office. Supporting 1500+ users the team actively engage in incident, problem and change management, as well as overseeing the development of new and innovative solutions using technologies such as VMware, Cisco and Citrix whilst ensuring at all times the continuing live BAU service.You will have strong and relevant experience in VMware, Cisco, Citrix and Windows server infrastructure and will have the ability to work at an operational support and project level managing workload and priorities accordingly. Also you will have a proven track record in managing a busy infrastructure team delivering a world class service to staff and suppliers. As part of the IT management team, the candidate is expected to participate in the creation and delivery of the corporate IT strategy.Essential qualifications (at least 2 of the below listed):

'€¢Educated to Degree level or equivalent experience'€¢Evidence of continuous professional development'€¢PRINCE2 Practitioner'€¢MSP practitioner'€¢ITIL practitioner

Other key experience:

'€¢Significant experience of service management'€¢Experience of managing an IT service line'€¢Managing a programme of activity, including budget control'€¢Significant experience of staff management and development'€¢Developing effective relationships with a range of clients'€¢Record of achievement in a pressured, change orientated environments'€¢Developing business cases'€¢Experience of information & Cyber security requirements and translating them into local practice
