Telecommunications Engineer-INSIDE IR35- ITIL/Voice/Data/Mobile Telephony/PABX Telephony/ISDX/Realitis/LAN/WAN/Voice Mail Telephone Equipment/SIP/RTPOur public sector client in North London are recruiting for a Telecommunications Engineer on a contract basis. The successful applicant will be responsible for:

-Responsible for first line and second line support for all Telecommunication faults using ITIL processes and procedures where applicable.

-Analyse and troubleshoot a wide range of faults reported by staff of all levels to the Helpdesk.

-Provide advice and guidance on use of equipment, processes and procedures.

-Advanced technical fault finding and analysis. -Ability to prioritise personal work without supervision

-Ability to take priorities from the ITIL based Service Desk Incident and Request Management System.

-Preferable trained in Prince2 or other project management framework or experience in working within such a framework.

-At least 3 years Telecommunications industry experience which must include a good knowledge and understanding of the following: -

-Mobile Telephony for voice and data, experience of handsets, data modems and associated equipment.

-PABX Telephony equipment ISDX/Realitis

-Basic LAN/WAN Networking principles of operation

-Voice Mail Telephone equipment

-SIP and RTP protocols

-Call logger equipment
