Software Architect - CopenhagenMy client is looking for a Software Architect to join their team and lead the engineering efforts to build cutting edge products to transform the industries they operate in. The ideal candidate combines a passion for tech with deep experience in full-stack development in Agile teams, plus great communication skills with technical and non-technical people. Be a very influential early member of a growing team at the heart of my clients mission.Key responsibilities Ownership of the technical vision needed to achieve business objectives. Communication, adoption, implementation, and support of the vision.Ownership of engineering quality. This means the quality of the solutions, code, plus supportability and testability of solutions, and processes too.Manage a growing team of lead/senior developers.Work with IT Support to resolve production issues and continually improve supportability (making it easier to solve production issues and removing support issues before they get to production).Work with the product management team to help define product requirements and ensure a quality flow of business objective aligned work into the backlog and sprints.Help evaluate buy versus build decisions, and the integration of 3rd party solutions when we decide to 'buy'.This is a hands-on role requiring significant commitment and ownership.Maintain deep knowledge of industry and technology trends, standards, and competition in order to identify business opportunities.CompetenciesThe ideal candidate will be someone with a real passion for innovation, someone that simply doesn't accept the status quo, a change agent not afraid to tackle huge challenges that others will have failed attempting to.
