Java / Python RAD developer - Investment BankingA Java / Python RAD developer who is at the beginning of their career - intern to 5 years' experience - is required to join team of eight developers. Role is to provide users (mainly traders) with efficient and robust tools in order to help monitor their risks and profits on daily basis, helping to maintain, support and improve the main Front Office risk management tool used by Commodity and Equity Derivatives traders. The team supports traders from Europe, USA and Asia.
Tasks will include the following:-
Support, maintain and improve current setups
Create tactical, robust and strategic solutions
Design, implement and deliver small to medium projects
Diagnose problems and investigate systems shortcomings under pressure in a competitive environment
Participate in the improvement of pricing models by interacting continuously with research, P&l and risk teams.
Requirements for the role:-
Good programming skills (Java, JavaScript, Python, VBA and SQL) including a relevant degree
Strong technical & problem solving skills
Highly motivated to work in a competitive environment
Good communication skills; French highly desirable
