As a Software Engineer, you'll be part of a 120-strong international family of exceptional developers who are advancing the time-tested technologies to bring expertise and services to support a new generation of developers. You'll be based in the Bristol office, where you'll take ownership of front-end components of the GNAT compiler, contributing to its long-term planning and roadmap.

You'll be involved in all aspects of software development, from partnering with language and compiler experts to advance research and prototypes, to refining your technical skills on diverse, contemporary technologies - you'll be granted the autonomy and responsibility to facilitate your career growth.

In this C++ Software Engineer role, you'll be encouraged to explore your curiosity and develop personally and professionally, facilitated by ongoing training and an intelligent approach to flexible working. You'll also have the chance to travel to the New York and Paris offices, and a 3 day, company-wide gathering in Summer.

Requirements:

You have a Computer Science degree (2.1 or above, BSc / MSc / PhD) from a reputable university

You are highly proficient in C++ (Java / Python also highly desirable)

You have knowledge of / interest in compilation / programming language analysis (demonstrable experience, even in form of university projects is highly desirable)

You are autonomous on software development environments like Linux, Git, Makefile etc.

You have a genuine passion for the world of coding, and are keen to keep pace with new and emerging technologies
