Working as a Senior Security Engineer for a global tech firm based in the heart of London. The candidate will have exposure to Cloud (AWS), Web Applications, Mobile applications and automation.Client DetailsGlobal Tech firm based in the heart of West London.DescriptionSenior Security EngineerPerforming source code reviews across projectsPerforming web and mobile application security testingConducting security incident and event investigation and analysisPerforming threat modelling and secure design review exercises with development teams and embedding the practice across all the product unitsImplementing and fine tuning automation of security tools in CI/CD pipeline and thinking new ways to automate and improve security across the businessIdentify vulnerabilities, distribute and suggest remediation across the development teams of the issues identified both internally or provided by third partiesCreate and perform security training courses relevant to the technologies adoptedReporting of the security assessments performedIdeally 4 years of experience in a technical information security field;iOS / Android application security assessment;Deep knowledge of application security vulnerabilities and security frameworks (Eg: OWASP TOP10) and security testing techniques and structured approachSecure application development with main technologies (Python, Java, PHP, Node, Javascript)ProfileSenior Security EngineerCandidate must be strong in either of the 3:Cloud SecurityWeb Application or Mobile SecurityDevelopment SecurityExperience and Skills Desired:CISSP/CSSLP/CREST qualified or any relevant certification, the candidate will be assessed on the knowledge and experienceISO270001 qualifiedUnderstanding security of Cloud technologies (AWS mainly) and deployments both private or publicContainer environment and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes) hardening and testing.
