Senior C++ Developer / Software Engineer (Linux Agile TDD Python C++ 17). Global FinTech is seeking a skilled C++ Developer for a 6 month contract. You will help to support feed handlers and focus on a migration project which will involve moving from legacy Solaris machines to Linux, updating API's, utilising more modern libraries and re-writing code utilising C++ 11 / C++ 17.

As a Senior C++ Developer your role will involve creating test suites, analysing source code for potential migration problem areas, performing the required code changes, as well as deploying the new code and communicating with affected stakeholders.

You'll be based in amazing City offices with open plan desk space, breakout areas, quiet spaces and a range of onsite facilities such as a free fully stocked food hall area.

Requirements:

Strong C++ development skills including C++11 and ideally C++17

Experience with large, real-time distributed systems

Good knowledge of Test Automation, TDD

Ideally you will have experience with TCP, UDP, multi-cast and Python development experience

Job Role: Senior C++ Developer / Software Engineer; Location: London, City; Rate: £600 to £650 p/day; Term: 12 months; Start: Immediate / ASAP
