Lead Java Developer (Salesforce CRM REST API). Are you a technologist seeking a Lead java Developer role where your focus will be on managing a team of highly talented software developers to deliver solutions that impact the business? You could be joining a scale-up FinTech and making a real impact.

Most of the work is Greenfield development; as a Lead Java Developer you'll be working across the business in a highly motivated team environment; liaising with other team leads to reach a common goal of producing a banking contact centre Salesforce CRM software that will enable traditional banks to compete with technology driven challengers.

Your team will focus on complex APIs and messaging services; using Kafka and SpringBoot as well as Apigee APIs within the wider Salesforce CRM solution sold to their client base. As Lead Java Developer you'll act as a servant leader, removing any obstacles or roadblocks; diving into the code and carrying out code reviews, mentoring and developing people.

Requirements:

Strong technical / team leadership experience

Java development background with a good knowledge of RESTful APIs and ideally Kafka (or other messaging technology)

Genuine passion for technology; keen to learn and continually innovate

Advocate of Agile development methodologies

Collaborative with strong communication skills; able to inspire and motivate; keen to help people develop their careers
