The company are a global bio pharmaceutical company, and are involved in the testing, development and manufacture of biologics. They are currently seeking a Safety Specialist to support their processes on site. Title: Safety SpecialistContract: An initial 11 month hourly rate contractLocation: Cork Your roles as a Safety Specialist will be to act as a key member of the EHS team on site, providing support and guidance to the assigned area. Responsibilities: Promote the culture of EHS excellence in vaccines.Address risk prevention opportunities.Conduct assessments, tracking and directing follow up activities.Direct the vaccines team on EHS requirements to ensure the area is in compliance with EHS standards and requirements.Assess changes that will have and EHS impact.Provide technical support and advice on new processes and equipment. Requirements:Degree in Science / Engineering disciplineEHS Qualification5+ years experience within the industryProven ability to influence others, and have strong interpersonal skills.
