Being within an industry that never stops moving forward, they are continuously investing in improvements and new products to ensure they remain the leader that they are. In doing so they are undergoing highly technical and interesting projects that requires a passionate help drive them forward.Working in a team of 4 other highly experienced engineers, you will be responsible for developing code used for high level instrument control application for the scientific industry. You will be key in creating new products as well as modernising legacy code from Delphi to C# as well as JavaScript and HTML. This role will also involve working on distributed network applications specifically using gRPC. * Developing code used for high level instrument control application for the scientific industry

* Working on modern RAD based high-level language (C#)

* Modernising legacy code (Delphi into C#)

* Working on distributed network applications (gRPC)

* Developing modern interfaces using JavaScript, SQL and HTML

* Some occasional international travel

* Exposure to new technology and technical progression available.The person* PhD

* Experience of distributed network applications (gRPC)

* Modern RAD based high-level language (Ideally C#)

* Modern user interfaces (JavaScript and HTML experience)

* Knowledge of Delphi would be preferable

* Happy to do some international travel.
