IR35: In scope of IR35 Role Description:Serve the team, product owner and the organisation to achieve as much Agility as possible given the constraints of the customer contractCoach the team, Product Owner and the product stakeholders in Agile principlePromote Agile adoption throughout the Delivery Group by educating, training and coaching individuals and through involvement with the Scrum Master communityBe the Agile process leader for their team/sWork with one or more Agile teams within the Delivery Group (DG) and contribute to the DG Agile delivery capability by sharing good practice across the organisation.Ensuring that team is adhering to Agile values, practices and rulesEncouraging the team to fine-tune their Agile delivery through the use of Inspect and Adapt practicesFacilitating Agile ceremonies, scheduling any resources required for these meetingsMonitoring the sprint progress/Kanban flow and alerting the team to potential delivery failure as early as possible to enable the team to take recovery actionEducating the team in the use of concepts such as burndown charts, story points, velocity, cumulative flow diagrams etc to measure their progress, both in delivering the work and in developing their Agility as a teamFacilitating removal of impediments and insulating the team from external distractionsProviding information on the progress of work and any impediments affecting delivery to Engagment Managers, the Release Manager and the Product Manager, either through tooling such as JIRA dashboards, or verbally, as dictated by circumstancesEnsuring that the team updates JIRA and Confluence in accordance with the 'DG Standards'Ensuring that the team adhere to the DGs documented Test StrategyEducating key stakeholders in Agile principlesTraining new product owners and team members in the Agile principlesCoaching the team to become a mature, self-organising Agile teamCoaching the product owner/proxy product owner in how to maintain the backlogWorking with the Product Owner/Proxy Product Owner to ensure that stories to be worked on next have been correctly prioritised and meet the team's 'Definition of Ready'Ensuring that new work is impacted by the team and is visible on the backlogTaking an active part in the DGs Agile community to promote sharing and adoption of good practice between teams, and encourage greater Agile adoption throughout the organisationKey DeliverablesThe team's agreed 'Definition of Done' and 'Definition of Ready'A JIRA project to be used by the team to build and manage their product backlogProposed sprint backlog to be taken into the sprint planning meetingFinalised sprint backlog after the sprint planning meetingConfluence site(s) for the team to document product information and data used for the team's Agile process - eg team calendar, sprint planning and retrospective meeting outcomes etcMetrics that the team can use to measure their progress throughout sprints/Kanban projectDocumentation of process improvements being driven through regular team retrospectivesPeriodic assessments of team Agility, tracking progress over timeTechnologies: JiraConfluenceThe successful candidate will hold active SC clearance or be eligible and willing to undergo the relevant checksPlease submit CVs today!
