Head of Solution Design & Development (Dynamics 365)

Salary: £66,000-£80,000

The Role:They are seeking an experienced individual to take ownership of their software development roadmap, technical innovation and strategy and act as the functional and technical expert on their new Technology stack - Dynamics 365 & Workday.Main responsibilities:Responsible for leading on the continued leverage of the company Technology Stack and technology road map by working with senior business stakeholders understanding business requirements, directorate and corporate strategies.Accountable for ensuring the road map and vision considers market analysis of other sector leading organisations, innovation by leading technology companies and the product road maps provided by the relevant software vendors.Responsible for partnering with IT on the maintenance of the architectural governance framework.Accountable for the application design governance across their application landscape.Accountable for the review and sign off of functional and technical designsResponsible for maintaining and enforcing the solution design principles across their enterprise change process.Responsible for the translation of the functional and technical road map into integrated programme plans with Programme and Project ManagementResponsible for the line management of Solution Architecture teams ensuring the team deliver best practice and quality assurance across the IT Solution landscapeWork with internal and external teams to ensure the delivery of a best practice solution design that meets business requirements, design principles and is value for money Key Requirements:Has performed the role of Enterprise Architect across large complex BAU application landscape.Has significant experience of working and developing architecture governance frameworks across a Tier 1 ERP solutions and integrated application landscapes.Experience of several project lifecycles rolling out Tier 1 ERP and CRM solutions within large scale business transformation programmes.Experience implementing solutions across hybrid cloud and on premise application landscape.Can work at all levels of the business from presenting and building relationships with senior Execs members and senior stakeholders at Steering Committee/ Board meetings, to interacting with middle management or end users to gather requirements.Has experience of managing third party System Integrator design and build activity, with a good understanding of the commercial implications of the relationship.Line management experience of experienced teamsIdeally has worked directly both for system integrator and client side quality assurance / advisoryIdeally deep functional experience across MS D365 F&O and/ or MS D365 CE. Workday knowledge is an advantage.Ideally experience of integration of MS D365 to other MS applications and legacy applications
