Client DetailsMy client, a world leading leisure organisation have partnered with Michael Page in their search for an SQL DBA.DescriptionResponsible for the day to day operation of the Group's IT infrastructure platform in particular SQL environment and supporting infrastructure including Azure cloud services, and the delivery of projects to improve the platform.Support the BI and Dev teams through BAU and projects. Deliver IT operations processes (incident, request, problem, change). Support the delivery of IT projects through the delivery of infrastructure components. Support the management of all IT risks including security and business continuity. ProfileExperience in DBA role working independently to support SQL Server 2008 through to SQL 2016 including routine tasks such as installation, configuration, backups, restores, performance tuning, monitoring, troubleshootingSupporting & troubleshooting SQL Server Availability Groups (preferably in Azure)Good grasp of SQL Security conceptsSSIS deployment & troubleshootingSSRS installation, configuration, report deployments and troubleshootingVetting & implementing releases in Production environments comprising of SQL, SSIS, SSRS and SSAS componentsClose collaboration with Development teams to improve processes and troubleshoot complex issuesUsingPowerShell to automate data collection and monitoring Management of SQL Server on Azure IaaS VM's Experience of working with Azure SQL Database (PaaS) Exposure to Power BI both client and server including SaaS Job OfferMy client are offering a basic salary of up to £80,000 including a range of fantastic benefits including flexible working.
