About the Role Who sets the standards, to ensure that anything that can be measured is done so with consistency and reliability? We do. You'll support and develop the business applications and systems development to achieve our goals - short and long-term. You'll network to ensure we're up-to-speed with the latest technical developments, champion new technology within the business and be an ambassador for change. All the while promoting our values and working as one NPL. As a Dynamics 365 Functional Consultant you will have experience of implementing D365 in an enterprise business environment. Knowledge of the PowerPlatform, D365 Finance, Talent, SharePoint and O365 would be highly beneficial. This is a hands-on configuration and development role but will also require you to champion the adoption of Dynamics 365 across NPL.  Responsibilities: Develop and support applications to meet business and project requirements Liaise with stakeholders to create user stories in order to produce and prioritise product backlogs Identify options to complete user stories through configuration / development of business applications Provide effective 3rd line support to the IT Service Desk to resolve incidents and service requests to SLA's Liaise with external suppliers and colleagues to identify solutions to tasks, incidents and change requests Assist with ITS & Digital Transformation projects by providing expert technical advice, development and support Ensuring software quality by following test procedures, change management processes and cyber security principles Produce and maintain up-to-date documentation of supported applications for knowledge transfer and team resilience Champion the adoption of new ways of working (AGILE, Kanban, DevOps) Continually improve knowledge and skill set to support an expanding estate of Business Applications We will be reviewing applications prior to the closing date. About You You want a role that lets you:   Be a Subject Matter Expert on D365 Finance and apply your knowledge to deliver the new ERP Demonstrate genuine passion for D365 & the PowerPlatform Design solutions with the end user in mind Focus on simple out of the box solutions (adopt not adapt) Continually learn and utilise the latest releases from Microsoft Demonstrate your clear thinking and logical manner Thrive in a complex environment  You're an experienced Dynamics 365 Functional Consultant, with a proven track record of implementing D365 Finance. Your technical knowledge will inspire your team, as will your hands-on approach to tasks. A good communicator, you can translate complex information to suit your audience, are a natural influencer and great relationship-builder.    
       
You will be able to:  Work closely with the ERP project delivery team, external partners and wider stakeholders to deliver the D365 ERP to NPL Provide specialist knowledge of D365 Finance (Core, Cash Management, Fixed Assets, Procurement, Accounting & Invoice to cash etc) to evaluate business processes against the out of the box D365 functionality Identify where customisations are required and facilitate the decision making and design process with the project team Prototype, configure and demo functionality Ensure all functionality is quality tested to reduce defects Produce and maintain D365 documentation deliverables Demonstrate a high level of oral and written communication skills Transition the solution to the Business Applications team And have experience of:   Implementing D365 Finance as a new platform Migrating ERP/Finance applications to D365 Financial processes and reporting (General ledger, AP/AR, fixed assets, budgets, cash & bank management etc) Lifecycle Services (LCS) to configure environments and the Business Process Modeller Role based security to manage user access Deploying releases and patches across environments Integrating D365 Finance with external data sources
(OData, Common Data Service & APIs) High degree of creativity and problem solving   Willingness to support, mentor and cross-train others  Nice to have: Azure DevOps Boards PowerAutomate, LogicApps & PowerBI D365 CE, PSA & Human Resource Beyond that, we're looking for someone who'll thrive in an environment like ours.
