Job Description - SCCM Consultant

Avanade UK is looking for experienced Modern Workplace Consultant with a focus on System Centre Configuration Manager (SCCM) and System Centre Operations Manager (SCOM).

This role will suit you, if you are looking to develop your skills within the Microsoft & Citrix Ecosystems and you love working in a client facing role and enjoy travel across the UK on a periodic basis.

About the role:

In this role you will support the delivery of complex workplace transformations, liaising with our architects to provide customers with guidance on how best to leverage investments in Microsoft System Center suite. You will also occasionally support pre-sales activity or act as an architect (depending on experience).

You are part of the team, act as an architect and potentially lead project teams involved in the delivery of SCCM, SCOM and Windows 10, being an expert in this subject

You manage client relationships to ensure successful delivery, taking responsibility for project reporting and budget tracking

Assisting customers and partners with configuration of onboarding tools and processes technology

You are passionate about ongoing improvement on processes, methodologies and technologies we offer

You love to share knowledge with others through solution documents, contribute to social media, engage technical communities, and provide feedback to the Program Team to improve tools and processes.

Do you have what it takes to become our SCCM guru? Show us the following:

Deep knowledge in System Centre technologies with experience of 2 or more of the following: SCCM, SCOM, Intune, EM+S.

Experience with Windows 10 migrations and application activities

Experience of SCCM, the console UI and a basic understanding of its operation and use for deployment of tools/software.

Experience in System Center Configuration Manager implementation, Migration, Administration

Experienced in SCCM and SCOM implementation, Migration and Administration.

Experience of EMS (Intune and Intune Hybrid)
