Risk Actuary - Lloyds (Re)Insurer

£40000 - £80000 per annum

I am currently working with a successful London Market Insurer looking to add a part/nearly/newly-qualified Actuary to their Risk function.

This is an extremely broad position which will offer the opportunity to develop a much wider range of skills than you would in a traditional role. You will have exposure to all elements of the internal model, as well as areas ranging from pricing, reserving, regulatory requirements, investments, underwriting, stress/scenario testing, risk appetite/tolerances, financial reporting and governance. This role will be far less data-driven than a traditional Actuarial role; therefore you will spend significantly more time on analysis and exercising your own judgement, and in turn helping to influence key strategic decisions.
