Business Intelligence Analyst - Data Analysis - Data Modelling - SQL - Qlikview - Power BI - Financial modelling - Solihull, West Midlands - Full time/Permanent - £45k to £50k

The Role

A talented Business Intelligence Analyst is sought for a leading UK business based in Solihull, West Midlands. We are seeking a BI Analyst who can work with technical and functional requirements of projects, as well as working with various stakeholders across the wider business.

Responsibilities

As a Data and BI Analyst you will be required to visualise and conceptualise data for the clients analytics platforms, creating marketing tools to support and build a data warehouse to enable them to enhance their customer and business process';- Improve their insight and financial modelling platforms. The data warehouse will integrate their, analytics, financial, and marketing platforms to give the business user an end to end view

The ideal candidate will be accountable for the creating technical solutions and translation of new business requirements across the life cycle. Candidates must be comfortable to work with end users to assess needs and add value to the business. Their background will allow them to develop data outputs and assist in data modelling and BI environment architecture tasks.

Essential skills for the Business Intelligence Analyst

* Good understanding of data modelling concepts

* Experience within the development environment for the Microsoft BI stack including SQL Server, SSIS and SSRS reports

* Must have strong capabilities with data visualisation design and familiarised with Qlikview or Power BI

* A can-do attitude and good communication skills

* Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills

It would be highly desirable if the Business Intelligence Analyst has a background within financial services or familiarised with financial modelling concepts.
