Embedded Software Engineer / Developer (C / C++ Linux). Would you like to join a well-funded Tech for Good technology start-up and collaborate with a team of highly talented software engineers to bring a unique product to market?

As an Embedded Software Engineer you will design and develop the core product, a complex mathematically based C++ algorithmic software that is used in hearing assistance devices enabling them to work more effectively even in noisy environments and is making a real difference to the hearing impaired.

The company has just received significant funding and has signed a deal with a major electronics manufacturer; this is an excellent opportunity to join as they scale. You'll be based in modern offices near Cambridge City centre with a quite working environment and core hours of 1000 to 1630.

Requirements:

Strong C / C++ embedded development experience

Experience of working with embedded devices in Linux (including testing)

Experience of packaging systems, or the construction and management of firmware images

Desire and drive to work in a start-up with little structure where you can make a real impact

Nice to have: DSP, Audio experience
