The RoleThe firm advises asset managers on operational, governance, risk and compliance issues relevant to the establishment and ongoing management of offshore funds.ResponsibilitiesReviewing financial statements of investment funds and fund management companies, both UCITS and AIFMD regulated;Liaising with Fund Administrators and Auditors regarding the oversight of the audit process of investment funds;Review of letters of representation required by fund Auditors and analysis of accompanying letters of support from fund service providers;Completion of VAT returns for investment funds;Production of monthly or quarterly accounts for fund management companies;Undertaking ad hoc duties in respect of the governance and compliance of investment funds with the relevant regulations.RequirementsA minimum of three year's experience in the finance/funds/investment management industry;Preference for a professional accounting qualification or working towards completion of a professional qualification;A detailed understanding of investment fund operations;Excellent interpersonal and client management skills;Ability to give clear analysis and communication, both verbal and oral;A commitment to on-going professional and personal development.
