Network Security Engineer (Firewall)

£30,000 - £35,000 + 33 days holiday + medical + dental + pension

LeedsAre you looking to get into network security and specialise in firewalls, secure wifi, multi-factor authentication, in a close knit team and become a real technical expert?This is a great time for someone with good knowledge of firewall principles and networks to get into defensive security and become a specialist. With web application firewalls and identity access management services also in the pipeline there will be on-going training provided.The company are a global specialist in IT Solutions and offer a range of services including network security, they have a great reputation for investing in training and you'll be joining a close knit team keen to share knowledge.This would suit someone with good knowledge of firewalls and networks looking to expand into security in a company offering an excellent career path.The Role:

- Provide 2nd Line support on firewalls and security

- Design firewalls and security elements of networks after training

- Multi-Factor Authentication and secure wifi

- Working with Watchguard technology (training can be provided)

- Occasionally working on UK sites for installsThe Person:

- Good knowledge of firewall and network principles

- Interest in defensive security

- Any knowledge of secure wifi and multi-factor authentication beneficial

- Knowledge of Watchguard beneficial
