An industry-leading, passionate and growing tech business is looking for a superstar Solution Architect to join its expanding team in London.Fully immersed in the latest tech innovations, you will be responsible for the development and implementations of systems architecture that supports the business needs while driving the delivery of state-of-the-art products.
As a Solution Architect, your responsibilities will include:
Taking responsibility for developing all of the company’s product offerings.Assessing the existing systems architecture and working with the engineering team to recommend new solutions.Assessing the impact that certain technical choices will have on the business from a budget, cost and process perspective, keeping relevant stakeholders informed.Supporting and guiding the development teams and helping resolve any technical issues as and when they arise.Designing and developing a framework for deploying infrastructure and using certain tools.Creating an environment where best practice is utilised across CI/CD, QA and coding.Ensuring robust security practices are in place across key areas such as encryption, key management and access management.Creating automated processes for the building and testing of software from development through to production. To be a successful Solution Architect, you will have the following skills and experiences:
Extensive experience in the role including leading a team of engineers and scientists.Proven experience in software architecture design and the designing, developing and launching of digital products.To be degree educated or equivalent in Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Science or similar.An in-depth understanding of coding languages and coding experience.Experience of working with microservices-based architectures.Experience of working with cloud infrastructures and infrastructure-as-code tools.Experience working with container engines and related tech-stacks.Familiarity with database systems, both SQL and NoSQL. In return, a Solution Architect will receive a salary of up to £90,000 per annum.
