The Role As Lead Developer you will manage the applications and development team, providing technical leadership and coaching for a diverse technology estate. You will provide insight into the development tools that should be used by the CIPD and work with Product Managers and suppliers to ensure high quality of development, development life-cycles process and supporting products. What You'll Be Doing Providing technical development leadership and direction to the CIPD in a hands-on way Managing a diverse team of developers, and ensuring knowledge is built and shared Working with the team to ensure support issues are resolved in an effective manner Working with Product and Project Managers to ensure systems and platforms are developed, supported and maintained in line with the business' current and future requirements Owning and defining the development standards and quality for the organisation and ensuring they are followed by the development team internally and externally Ensuring product roadmaps have accurate estimates Ensuring all source code, including for third parties, is stored securely Leading the development, build and maintenance all aspects of the internally developed support systems and platforms Driving high standards of the code and design Reviewing code of other developers to ensure the overall code quality and to encourage a collaborative development environment Keeping up to date with the latest technologies and methodologies Ensuring a globally robust and highly scalable approach to development to support our growing number of global members, customers and services Leading and coaching the development team on all java platforms including AEM Training developers and engineers on systems and platforms Providing project proposals for upgrades, migrations and new projects What You'll Need To Be Successful Experience of C#, Visual Studio Knowledge of Informatica Data Integration Experience of Salesforce CRM/Community Cloud/Force Knowledge of Integra CRM/Membership Web development experience (Microsoft) Knowledge of Cloud technologies - Azure/Force Knowledge of Azure GIT and other repositories Knowledge of Agile methodologies Experience of working effectively with suppliers and partners Please note, this advert is due to close on Monday 13 January 2020.
