Role: Electrical Design EngineerLocation: CheltenhamDuration: 12 MonthsRates: Up to £45/hour Key Activities:Editing and Processing documentation and data using generic and client business tools.Working with the business PTC Windchill tool to:Populate placeholders.Raise Promotion requests.Raise Engineering Change Requests (ECR).Expedite Reviews and Approvals.Following the clients business processes.Engaging with, and reporting to the Engineering Project Managers. Essential Responsibilities:The ownership of the assigned tasks to completion.Update of designs within ECAD Tools.Interaction and engagement with the Change Management Organisation on document/drawing/data lodging, releases and issues.Interaction and engagement with the Business Tool service/support teamsFacilitating periodic team meetings, and the recording and lodging of meeting minutesMaintaining project progress trackers (Spreadsheets)Editing documentation and data from written notes and memorandums Qualifications/Requirements:Electrical Engineering background ideally within the Aviation IndustryKnowledge and understanding of EWIS regulationsProficient with Electrical CAD Tools ideally Mentor CapitalCompetent in the use of MS Word/Excel/Power-Point/Office and PDF tools.Experience of PTC Windchill is preferred, but not essential as training will be given.Experience of ITAR data Compliance Tagging is preferred, but not essential as training will be given.Good verbal and written communications skills Desired:Experience of Aircraft Electrical SystemsSelf-motivatedStrong attention to detailAble to work with minimal supervisionA strong team playerAn understanding of technical phrasing To apply please send your CV's in the first instance.
