The Digital Product Designer, Role
We're building the world's leading brand guidance platform. As a Product Designer in our growing Platform Team, you will take ownership of defining and designing the visual elements of key user experiences. Through your experience in designing and shipping digital products, you will ensure that the products we deliver are beautiful, intuitive and addictive. As we grow this role will expand to involve building and leading a team of Product Designers.
Responsibilities:
User Experience Definition:
+ Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to define and implement delightful customer experiences
+ Rapidly prototype concepts and reach executable iterations of designs that solve user needs
+ Design new features from wireframes to polished high fidelity designs
+ Lead User Research, ensuring that our product solves key user jobs
Interaction and Visual Design
+ Own and develop our digital design language, ensuring consistency and scalability
+ Iterate on our UI to improve usability
+ Ensure our unique data visualization library is actionable, intuitive and accessible
+ Produce and maintain a pattern library to ensure rapid deployment of visual elements
User Research
+ Running user interviews and prototype presentations to uncover solutions to user needs
+ Synthesising and presenting user research findings to stakeholders
About You:
+ 5 years' experience working with product teams to design and ship digital products, including mobile applications, web applications and responsive websites
+ High level of comfort working embedded within cross-functional teams, with multiple experiences of launching software products or features from start to finish
+ Experience working with data and data visualisation
+ Experience developing living styleguides / pattern libraries desirable but not essential
+ Curiosity about how new technologies can work together to solve user needs
+ Have a current portfolio available for viewing that demonstrates iterative and detailed work required to ship products / features
