Senior QA Test Engineer / Technical Lead (Console / Mobile Games). Are you a skilled QA Test Engineer looking to progress your career? You could be taking ownership of testing projects and lead a small team whilst enjoying a collaborative, technology driven work environment with flexible working conditions. As a Senior QA Test Engineer you will lead a small team of QA Test Engineers responsible for ensuring the quality of a suite of well-known console and mobile games. You'll be involved in a number of projects, defining project requirements and deliverables based on scope; planning test coverage from initiation through to delivery as well as accompanying documentation, test execution plans and metrics reports. You will utilise your knowledge of QA testing to mentor the team and ensure well planned test projects in a hands-on off role that will allow you to have influence, partnering with stakeholders. You'll be based in brand new, open plan games studio in Yorkshire with onsite parking, close public transport links, outside space for sunnier days; there's regular team events and subsidised gym memberships. Requirements: *Experience within a computer game development / studio, having shipped at least one game from early development to release *Strong knowledge of QA test best practices, tools and test automation across the full testing lifecycle *Excellent communication skills; able to understand requirements and convey highly technical information; confident when dealing with senior stakeholders *Experience of mentoring and managing a teams' daily tasks *Logical mindset, strong analysis and problem solving skills As a Senior QA Test Engineer you will earn a competitive salary (to £32k) plus bonus (upto 20%) and benefits including relocation allowance (up to £1000), share scheme, BUPA medical care, pension, gym membership and extra days off at Christmas.
