About you
You are open-minded, passionate about technology and particularly interested in the role that software development plays in building an innovative and forward thinking organisation.
You're looking for something that excites you, you've always dabbled with the idea of joining a start-up or maybe working with start-ups has been your bag for a while. But more importantly, you're passionate about building open and welcoming teams that promote collaboration across an organisation.
You're still quite hands on and enjoy working with Python and React alongside JavaScript. (You've also played a role in producing engaging Android and iOS apps)
You're a CTO or maybe you want to be a CTO?
Most importantly, you have a proven ability to run successful teams and a desire to build and grow people within your teams to create a cutting-edge function.
Our client
A new and innovative start-up who we are supporting to secure a CTO to lead their ambitious InsurTech venture.
They are FTSE 100 owned but have complete autonomy, with this role reporting directly into the CEO and overseeing all development efforts whilst steering their technology choices. As they are growing fast they need someone who can reinforce their management team and take ownership to shape and define their vision for the role.
This will play the pivotal role in producing and implementing a vision for the Start-up's software architecture and system infrastructure that not only supports their products but provides value to their customers; and will be instrumental in growing the technology function whilst managing, nurturing and growing talent within.
The basics
Based out of Cardiff, package undisclosed but paying competitively due to it's nature (ie: Are you coming from a CTO background? Are you a Senior Software Engineer? Are you a Software Architect? Etc.)
