Would you like to work join a new and exciting project, which shall allow you to develop Java technologies? Our client are looking for an experienced Java Developer who shall hit the ground running within a team environment.Day to day, you will be responsible for: Building maintainable, testable, resilient software systems including monitoring and operational impact throughout the processOwning the end to end software delivery processWorking alongside Architects and Senior Developers to design the systemWorking as part of a team - mentoring developers and ensuring coding standards are metEssential: Minimum of 3 years' experience with either Java or ScalaExperience of working in a fast paced, team environmentStrong communication skills, ambition and a passion for techWorking with a mixture of RESTful and push APIs (JSON and XML)Testing Frameworks e.g. Junit/Mockito/SpockExperience with working with NoSQL and RDBMS data platforms (e.g. MySQL, Big Table, Big Query, elasticsearch, Redis)Test Driven Development advocateThe successful candidate will hold active SC clearance, or be eligible and willing to undergo the relevant checks.
