Role: SQL DBA - ApplicationsDuration: 3 Months + extension Location: London The 6 key skills we are looking forPractical experience in creating SQL Server Partitions on live Databases.Practical experience in SQL query performance tuning.Practical experience in designing and reviewing Indexes for performancePractical experience in design considerations for large SQL Server tables with billions of rows.Practical experience in troubleshooting live issues related to SQL Server database.Knowledge and experience in high availability configurations for SQL Server databases. Task descriptionExperiences in deploying and managing MS SQL Databases for Infrastructure applications.Experiences with one of the public cloud platforms AWS Azure and Virtualisation VMware.Hands on experience on Database platforms including MS SQL.Familiarity with deployment automation frameworks e g Chef Ansible and TFS.Ability to perform root cause analysis.Experience with PowerShell or similar scripting language.Strong understanding of core security concepts and practices.Troubleshooting maintaining upgrading and providing solutions to complex hardware software problems.DB Administration Experience with MSSQL.Good understanding of AD VDI SCCM technologies and options.Good understanding of Antivirus and End Point protection technologies.Backup and Restore Experience on Cloud.Experience with administration of load balancer device.High levels of oral and written communication skills.Excellent customer service skills.
