1st Line IT Service Desk Support Analyst - Kidlington - Day & Night shift rota.£200 - £220 per day - Initial 6 month contractThis is a fantastic role for one of our most prestigious clients based in Kidlington, Oxfordshire. In this 1st line IT Service Desk Support Analyst role you shall provide first line technical support and advice as part of a team of 1st line people for calls received via telephone, online portal and email. This role will have you working both day and night shifts on a 12 hour shift. You shall adhere to Service Level agreements with the business, as well as operational Level Agreements within IT.You must have good troubleshooting and analytical skills and have previous IT Service Desk/Helpdesk experience around Microsoft environments.

You will provide 1st line support on a range of issues.

To be considered for the 1st Line IT Service Desk Support Analyst/Engineer/Technician role you will need to be able to demonstrate your knowledge in some if not all of the following:

*PC/Laptop support - hardware diagnoses & configuration

*Password resets, user administration

*Windows Operating System (Windows 7/8/10)

*MS Office including MS Outlook & O365

*Call logging

You must have exceptional communication skills. Any experience in the public sector would be a bonus as would any ITIL experience. Due to the location of the clients site and lack of public transport during the times of the night shifts a driving license is likely to be needed for any candidates that don't live in Kidlington itself.

Please note successful candidates will have to go through a vetting process.This is a public sector role and has been subject to an IR35 Assessment which has deemed this role 'Inside' of the Intermediaries Legislation (IR35)
