A public service provider has an exciting opportunity for a home-based, end to end IT Solutions Architect to join its team. They are looking for someone with extensive transformational IT Solution Architectural experience, ideally gained from an outsourcing/public service provider background. They are also interested in hearing from candidates with contact centre, corporate, leisure and/or NHS backgrounds. As an IT Solutions Architect, your duties will include:Visiting sites across the whole of the UK.Providing technical leadership and leading end to end systems architecture and high-level designs.Producing technical elements throughout the vendor selection process, including quality assurance of proposals, regulatory compliance and adherence to standards.Working with programme/project managers and suppliers to agree on optimum technical delivery approaches.Working with senior stakeholder including C-suite.Communicating with stakeholders, ensuring they fully understand the solutions.Clearly agreeing and documenting design decisions.Providing support and leadership of the solution build and integrations activities, ensuring the alignment of system changes. To be successful in this IT Solutions role, you will have the following skills and experiences:
A formal qualification or equivalent - TOGAF is ideal but is not essential.An innovative approach to your work with the ability to find better/cost-effective/quicker ways to build solutions and add value to the business.Comfortability in altering technical directions and subsequent actions/thoughts.Experience in managing industry stakeholders.Knowledge of Networking, Applications, IT Infrastructure, SAAS and CCAS.The ability to migrate and integrate applications on the cloud.Experience of working in a multi-supplier environment (CRM, Back End, analytics) with a flexible approach.Solid experience working in agile projects, across the full life cycle.The ability to work collaboratively from inception through to completion.
