Ofgem is committed to making a positive difference for energy consumers through effective regulation of the market and close working with suppliers to ensure sustainable energy for consumers and businesses in the UK.

This is an ideal opportunity for a strategic workforce analyst to take on a new role within our organisation and add real value to our workforce planning and decision-making by providing high quality analytics, trend data and insights. You can expect to contribute to a wide range of initiatives, including pay modelling, workforce information surveys and leading on the reporting and trend analysis from our annual staff survey. We'll also want you to look outwards to benchmark our data and compare workforce analysis to other organisations. You will also be encouraged to assess our current systems and data quality, and make recommendations on opportunities to improve in these areas.

We expect that you'll already have experience in an HR/Workforce analyst role, and that you are confident analysing a range of complex workforce data. You'll need strong statistical analysis skills to draw out informed conclusions and recommendations from a range of sources. And it's important that you can bring data to life for others - using well-developed presentation skills, and different techniques and tools to share findings. You'll need to be proficient in using Excel and should have experience of working with HR systems such as Midland HR or Business Object.

Ofgem can offer you a comprehensive and competitive benefits package, which includes:

Up to 30 days' annual leave

Excellent training and development opportunities

The opportunity to join the Civil Service pension arrangements, which include a valuable range of benefits

Flexible working hours and family friendly policies

Subsidised gym

Interest free season ticket loan

Rental deposit scheme

Perkbox (staff discount scheme)

Employee Wellbeing Programme.
