The role is working for a well-established, multi-national retailer and specialises in clothing, home and luxury product.The client is a leading retailer with a strong brand heritage, extraordinary colleagues and customers who want to see us succeed.The Learning & Development Team are looking for an enthusiastic, engaging and adaptable Consultant to join the Team at their state-of-the-art offices in London. You'll be motivating their office-based Clothing & Home colleagues (Buyers, Merchandisers, Designers, Tech, Supply-chain, Dotcom, Marketing etc) and ensuring they have all the right learning tools to reach their full potential.You can expect a fast-paced and stimulating environment, with colleagues who deliver a service that has a real, tangible impact on the people and business. You'll be working with Subject matter experts (SME's) at all levels in the business to scope, design, create, implement and evaluate a portfolio that delivers real value in a time of digital transformation.Key accountabilities of the role includeDesigning, contributing and coordinating elements of the L&D plan for the Clothing & Home businessBeing a key business partner, managing the relationships with the HRBPs and key business stakeholders to establish learning needs and interpret development requirementsEffectively planning delegate learning participation, tracking all business unit L&D activity to ensure we have the appropriate data, reporting and evaluation requiredLead internal and external projects with the use of SME's and external partners to produce relevant learning solutionsDeliver engaging L&D campaigns and stories to create awareness of the learning Academy portfolio and promote a self-driven continuous learning culture Key experienceExperience of L&D within Retail or FMCG industry (experience working with office-based Clothing & Home roles would be a bonus)A creative and curious mindset to deliver the effective and innovative solutions for our businessA passionate Team player who can work with their peers on the broader HR and Clothing & Home strategy to really drive our business transformationAbility to manage numerous projects, delivering a consistently high standard while acting with paceKnowledge of learning theories, frameworks, digital techniques, design, implementation and evaluation methodsL&D analysis, design and facilitation skills (both technical and behavioural)Knowledge of external markets and emerging trends within L&DCan build effective working relationships across all levels and Teams within the businessCommercially aware and confident managing budgetsAwareness of the apprenticeship levy
