Job Title : Senior Data Scientist- Machine Learning Contract Length: 6 months (Likely Extension)**2 Days per week remote working**Job DescriptionYou will build innovative proof of concepts for complex industrial problems across our key business units including Generation (Hydro, Offshore wind, Onshore wind, Gas, Coal), Transmission, Distribution (including Smart Grid), Trading, B2B supply, Enterprise (including Smart cities, Telco, Rail).

Our data scientists work in small agile teams applying state-of-the-art techniques from data science, machine learning, artificial intelligence & decision optimization as well as building advanced data visualizations.

We are building an advanced cloud analytics platform and utilise a variety of data sources ranging from IOT sensor data, geospatial, weather, lidar, fault & maintenance, to telematics and use advanced supporting technologies including GIS systems and PAAS machine learning services.

Role & Responsibilities 3+ years' experience applying data science / machine learning / AI to solve business problems. Experience working with state-of-the-art data science, modelling & visualization techniques Experience developing models to solve problems in utilities or other asset-based industries a distinct advantage

Skills & Qualifications * Machine learning

* Supervised

* Unsupervised

* scikit-learn, etc…

* Deep Learning (e.g. Tensorflow/Keras)

* Strong programming skills.

* Python (Pandas, Numpy, PySpark, Jupyter, etc...) advantageous

* Git

* Advanced data visualisation for understanding large, complex, or high-dimensional data.

* Tableau or equivalent is a plus.
