Leeds Beckett University is a modern professional university based in the vibrant city of Leeds, the biggest financial district outside London. Within the university, the Registrar's Office provides a range of innovative and high-quality support services for our students and staff. Our diverse team of professionals provide service support in areas relating to quality assurance, fees and student finance, registration, planning, timetabling and the provision of management information, as well as student record related external reporting.

Our team's work is always varied, and involves working collaboratively with other professional services as well as academic departments, to deliver the best possible service and contribute to University wide development projects.  In order to continue to meet the increasing demand for high quality reports and analyses, we are seeking to appoint an experienced analyst to develop and implement solutions for a wide range of internal and external planning and reporting challenges relating to student data. This includes creating processes to extract and prepare data for statutory returns, data quality reports and student record management.

The successful candidate will have a strong track record working with relational databases, SQL, complex datasets and have experience using a variety of tools such as SAS, Business Objects and Excel.  They will also have highly developed communication skills and the ability to manage multiple complex projects to deliver customer focused innovative solutions.

We welcome applications from all individuals and particularly from black and minority ethnic candidates as members of these groups are currently under-represented at this level of post.  All appointments will be based on merit.
