Our Client are looking for a Head of Resourcing to assist them in the delivery of their resourcing function in Uxbridge. The Head of Resourcing is responsible for the delivery of a professional resourcing function, ensuring the provision of a high quality, innovative and effective service to internal and external customers. Effective resourcing is identified as a key strategic priority for the Trust. This role has overall responsibility for permanent and temporary staffing for all non-medical staff groups to ensure it has the workforce it needs to meet its objectives and deliver its services.

The Head of Resourcing will work closely with the People Solutions Partners (HR Business Partners) and hiring Managers to develop recruitment strategies to target specialist or 'hard to fill' roles and diverse recruitment methods to address different needs within the organisation. They also lead and manage the recruitment team to ensure the provision of a high-quality responsive customer-focussed recruitment service and ensure that recruitment processes are implemented in line with Employers Employment Check Standards, Terms and Conditions of Service, and the Trust's Recruitment and Selection Policy.

Responsibilities:Leading delivery of strategic resourcing elements of the Recruitment and Retention StrategyLead the Recruitment Team, taking responsibility for overall development and specialist knowledgeMaximise use of the e-recruitment systemEnsure the resourcing function is legally and ethically compliant, including monitoring Disclosure and Barring Service checks (DBS) and right to work

Qualifications and Training:Degree level qualification (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline (i.e. Human Resources, Organisation Development, Business Studies etc.)MCIPD qualified or equivalent experience

Experience:Substantial demonstrable experience of managing resourcing and recruitment in a complex organisationUnderstanding of the strategic approach to recruitment and selectionExperience of managing staffExperience of budget managementDeveloping and delivering training for managersExperience of analysing highly complex data and recommending improvements/optionsExperience of developing assessment methods including competency-based interviews (desirable)Involvement in Senior Level Appointments (desirable)

Knowledge:Thorough understanding of contemporary HR practicesSenior HR experience in a large complex organisationEvidence of providing HR professional advice and support at senior levelSignificant knowledge of employment law and its applicationDemonstrable experience of effectively working with Trade UnionsKnowledge and understanding of key issues including national and local policy driversKnowledge of NHS Service Improvement AgendaDemonstrable transformational change management experience in a large complex organisation (desirable)Specialist in designing and implementing strategic approaches to resourcing and workforce planning (desirable)Commissioning of recruitment and selection training and the development of robust selection methods e.g. Psychometrics and other assessment techniques. (desirable)
