C# Software Engineer with 3+ years' post-graduate experience and a strong academic record sought by a heavily-backed FinTech business. We are partnering with a 100+ person FinTech business boasting an industry-leading front-to-back Trading platform running on AWS. To further support their rapid growth they are now looking to add a strong Software Engineer with expertise in C# and .Net Core and exposure to real-time Messaging and Public Cloud platforms, gained working on large, highly-distributed and mission-critical enterprise systems. This role sits within the Front Office Technology team but rather than looking for an experienced Financial Technologist with specific business-knowledge, they keen to speak to individuals from outside of industry with excellent technical skills who can take ownership of Core Technology and who can bring fresh ideas and energy to the business. You will be working with some of the brightest and best in Financial Markets Technology however Markets-specific training will be provided as required. Requirements2:1 minimum Bachelor's Degree in a numerate subject from a top University - ideally Computer Science, Engineering, Maths or Physics.3+ years commercial C# .Net experience gained in any industry but focusing on large-scale high-throughput platforms..Net Core / ASP.Net Core / Redis messaging experience highly desirable.Exposure to modern software engineering practices such as SOLID design principles preferred.Exposure to Public Cloud-based platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) preferred.Excellent communication skills.An interest in Finance preferred, especially Financial Markets.
