Quality Assurance Engineer

Software Quality Assurance Engineer urgently required on a permanent basis in London.

You will be responsible for QA testing, such as the setup, configuration and maintenance of software test environments. You will be working within a team with the potential to lead a team of QA engineers.

The ideal candidate should demonstrate reviewing software applications, working with Business Analysts and End-Users to understand requirements and Developers to understand the impact of changes to assist debugging and enhancing IDC applications. Being well-versed in Quality Assurance concepts, practices and tools is required in order to plan and accomplish goals. An individual who has had experience in the Financial Sector, ideally within Fixed Income products is desired.

Technical Skills:

§ Experience with programming languages like Java & Python

§ Experience with Relational Database Systems (My SQL, Oracle)

§ Experience with UNIX/LINUX system and writing shell scripts
