Database Developer | Nr Birmingham | up to 400/day

                       

Jonothan Bosworth Recruitment Specialists are currently supporting a key partner in their quest to identify a Database Developer / Administrator to start a new contract, immediately.

THE VITAL STATISTICS:

In order to be considered for this role you will need to be able to demonstrate solid, hands-on expertise using: data definition language (DDL), data manipulation language (DML) & structured query language (SQL).

THE BASICS:

Individuals with ETL tools and demonstrable experience in coding complex SQL stored procedures and user-defined functions as well as a solid understanding of database performance optimisation will be of interest.

CI/CD pipeline and GitHub experience will also hold you in good stead.

If you work with relational database modelling, coupled with a good understanding of data warehouse and data security and governance wed like to hear from you. Solid exposure different data sources (e.g. SQL, Cosmos, XML, JSON, CSV, PSV) will result in an immediate interview request

THE NICE TO HAVES:

Any Database Developer with exposure to Azure SQL, C#/TDD, PowerShell, Azure elastic queries understanding and / or PowerBI will be highly sought after.

THE CONCLUSION:

Developers / Programmers / Administrators / BIs with a passion for all things database-related will thrive in this role. We are looking for someone who is ideally able to start ASAP and can commute to the West Midlands (Nr Birmingham) daily.

Our client is based 10-minute walk from the nearest train station.

This contract sits outside of IR35 and requires basic Security Clearance: BPSS (DBS).
